AIA Releases Updated Re-Occupancy Tool
American Institute of Architects (AIA) has released an updated Re-occupancy Assessment Tool V2.0
Section 3.6, Mechanical and Passive Ventilation, includes the following ventilation recommendations and more:
Ensure ventilation systems is operable by taking measurements to verify acceptable levels.
Increase ventilation rates and air changes.
Ensure exhaust fans are providing negative pressure.
Monitor CO2, humidity, and temperature.
Monitor and maintain Relative Humidity between 40-60%
Install MERV-13 rated filters or higher after verifying system comparability.
Set up a building flush for two hours, before and after occupancy.
