Moisture Management

Moisture management seems an easy enough phrase. It seems almost simple. People want to avoid having moisture issues in their buildings. Yet, damage from moisture issues can be staggering. Moisture problems are not just sensational journalism. They cost the building industry billions each year and are increasingly blamed for allergies and asthma.

NEMI developed a task force to research and study this issue. They commissioned a survey to be completed that examines all of the issues related to moisture management, most importantly, how to rid a building of moisture issues once it has been determined to exist.

This is an every growing field that is expected to increase even more over the next 20 years. NEMI's Task Force is currently supplying this survey to interested contractors.
